The Mickey Mouse Club House Cake I made for my little man!

On August 15th 2010 our little boy turned 2 years old. I can't even describe how quickly the last two years have gone by. I never knew how precious the years are until they have all of a sudden disappeard and my baby is no more, and this little boy is running around me shoving rocks and cars in his pockets and watching football and baseball and hockey with his daddy. I know every parent says that their child is smarter than most and that they are truly the best there is, but I know in our case, it's true! ;) We have hit the jackpot with this little boy we are honored to call our son. I hope the next two years don't go by nearly as fast!

I realize I have been HORRIBLE about keeping our blog loaded with new pics of our little man, I can't believe he will be 2 on Sunday... I promise to post more frequently. He is talking so much, he can pretty much say any word you ask him to, or at least attempt it. He picks up on everything, and is so smart (yes, I know every mommy says that, but with my kiddo it's true!) ;) We love him so much and can't believe the little person he has become. Thank you again to my sister Heather for taking amazing pictures for us to cherish forever.

Spring/Summer fun!

Mariners game, 5/2/10 watching our friend Doug Fister pitch!

On Sunday we had a great family outing to the Mariners game to watch our friend Doug pitch against the Rangers! Doug pitched great! Chad loved watching the game and yelling "basehaball!" He was so good during the game, cheering, clapping and yelling "go Dougie!" He finally zonked out in the 9th inning!

Chad met a new friend at the lake, he would run up and say "Hi Duck!" then the duck would get closer, and he would run away and say "Bye Duck!" The duck had no fear of him! I was a little worried he would get nibbled! When the duck would flap his wings Chad would yell "Oh NO!" He had a lot of fun!

On Sunday we took Chad to the Zoo for the first time. He loved it! The weather was perfect, and he got to see lots of animals! He loved the Elephants and the Otters! I'm sure it is the first trip of many!
